Pianos with a new story
Restoration, repair and care for upright and grand pianos — with respect for their construction, sound and history.
About TopPiano
A piano workshop with a heart in Kalisz
TopPiano has been based in Kalisz since 2017, but the people behind the workshop bring many more years of experience, gained while building, repairing and restoring upright and grand pianos in other workshops.
Kalisz holds a special place in Polish piano-making history. The city is associated with the Fibiger family and the Calisia factory, and today it is home to the Gustaw Arnold Fibiger Technical School of Piano Building — the only school of its kind in Poland and one of very few worldwide.
We see restoration as a combination of precise craftsmanship, knowledge of piano mechanics and sound, and respect for the instrument's history. Every upright and grand piano requires an individual assessment and work tailored to its construction, condition and character.
